Troy 1122 Heavy Duty Degreaser

Troy 1122 Heavy Duty Degreaser

TROY 1122 HEAVY DUTY DEGREASER is a built detergent – cellosolve system.

The combination of excellent detergency plus the organic solvent results in an aggressive cleaner that will solubilize most soils that generally yield only to highly caustic or strong solvent emulsion cleaners.

PHYSICAL DATA:

Clear blue liquid

pH (1% solution): 10.0 – 12.0

APPLICATIONS:

Intended for industrial and institutional uses such as degreasing, floor scrubbing, and paint prep.

Features and Benefits:

  • Versatile. Used with pressure cleaning equipment or automatic scrubbers.
  • Extremely concentrated. Can be diluted as much as 40:1.
  • Can be mixed with diesel fuel or standard solvent to form an emulsion system.
  • Formulated for heavy duty cleaning and degreasing applications where caustic concrete and steam cleaners are too corrosive.

Guidelines for Use:

Machinery & Equipment: Pressure-cleaning with the appropriate equipment is generally recommended. Start with a 1:20 dilution, and adjust the concentration to suit the cleaning requirement.

Concrete Floors: A use dilution of 1:20 to 1:40 is recommended. TROY 1122 may be applied with a mop or pressure-cleaning equipment. Apply to surface, allow contact time, rinse thoroughly.

Transportation Equipment: Use a dilution of 1:20 to 1:40 for cleaning the undercarriage, wheels, etc. TROY 1122 is not designed as a wash for cabs or trailer bodies.

Heavy Grease Deposits: Use a strong solution (1:5 – 1:10). Or use 1 part 1122 to 5 to 8 parts solvent to form an emulsion system.

Automatic Scrubbers and Single-Disc Machines: For light soil, use 1-2 oz./gallon, and for heavy soil use 2-4 oz./gallon. Vary the dilution to obtain the desired results.
