PRODUCT INFORMATION

TROY 2119-MS is a heavy duty nitric-based acid cleaner for use in the Dairy, Beverage and Brewing Industries. TROY 2119-MS is very effective in the removal of milkstone, beerstone, mineral deposits and protein films commonly found in these types of Food Processing Facilities.

 

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

ACID WASH: Use at the rate of 1/2 to 5 oz. per gallon, depending upon the soil to be removed. Consult your TROY Representative for specific application rates.

ACID FINAL RINSE: Use at the rate of 1/4 to 1 oz. per gallon.

CIRCULATION SPRAY CLEANING: 1/2 to 5 oz. per gallon of 150-170o F. Water.

ACID CLEANING (TUBESIDE ONLY) OF REVERSE OSMOSIS EQUIPMENT: Feed at the rate of 1 gallon TROY 2119-MS per 100 gallons of 104-113oF. water. Adjust with the addition of more acid (to lower pH) or more water (to raise pH) to maintain a pH of 1.5 to 2.0.

PASSIVATION OF STAINLESS STEEL: Meets ASTM A967.
