PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

TROY 2806 FG is a nitrite-based rust inhibitor for use in applications where food contact may be an issue. It will prevent flash rusting after phosphatizing and prior to painting. This compound can be used to coat the entire interior surface when a drum is used to contain food products.

 

USE DIRECTIONS

Use concentration, spray or dip: 0.25 – 0.75%

Temperature: Ambient

Time: 30 -60 seconds

HANDLING PRECAUTIONS

Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing. Avoid breathing mists or sprays. Do not take internally. Wash thoroughly after handling. Keep container closed when not in use. Always wear rubber gloves, goggles and protective clothing when contact is likely. Always have a safety shower and eye wash fountain available for first aid.
